1880 Seth Thomas Adamantine Mantel Clock
1880 Seth Thomas Adamantine Mantel Clock with rare marbled veneer. A very attractive antique Victorian mantle clock made by Seth Thomas clock company. Wind up key comes with this clock. This is a fixer upper or parts clock. We took it by our local clock shop and had them check it out. It does need a thorough cleaning, a front glass piece and a bob. After winding it does do some ticking but stops after a short period (no bob). Our local shop is kind of high but thorough on restoration. Their restoration cost was estimated at 500. Clock housing is in overall good condition for its age, brass time plate needs worked over and internally it needs gone through. A good project clock for a tinkerer. Measures 16" by 12" by 6 3/4".
