3 Vintage Black Forest Mechanical Puppet Character Wine Corks
3 Black Forest Mechanical Puppet Character Wine Corks. Black Forest cork puppets are traditionally made in the Black Forest region, known as Schwarzwald in German. These items not only serve as functional wine bottle stoppers but also as decorative pieces with a touch of whimsy. Hand painted and in very good condition for their age. 2 have levers that make their mouths go up and down and the third has a button you push and pull from the back to make him stick his tongue out. They measure 3 5/8" to 4 3/4". They shorter one had his cork halved off.
