Wang Shishen Chinese Rubbing - Old Chinese Poem Rubbing
Wang Shishen Chinese Rubbing – Old Chinese Rubbing. We tried to decipher this. It is likely a poem. The Bamboo on the rubbing is likely a copy of art by the famous Wang Shishen who’s name came up when we tried to research this item. Wang Shishen (1686–1759) was a Chinese painter and calligrapher during the Qing Dynasty. If one of you folks that looks at this can read Chinese pls feel free to message us its meaning. Measures 45 3/4" by 24 1/4" Old but still frame worthy. Noticed a couple small holes where the rubbing was being done that was likely from when it was made.
