Extremely Rare 1852-1854 Two Trigger Pocket Revolver by E. Whitney & Co. 1 of 650 Made w/ a Bronze Frame. Whitney "Two Trigger" Pocket Revolver. Made 1852-1854 for a total production of 650, this one is serial Number 97. These revolvers were part of the initial production run and are highly sought after by collectors. This Pistol like many guns owned during the period was personalized with the first owners name engraved on the butt stock. It was owned or issued to L. E. Burgess. This piece has the wear from use during the period and is missing the trigger guard as shown in the photos and the cocking mechanism or hammer does not catch to hold it back. Measures 11 1/8" long approximately. Rare collector piece that would be a great edition to any collection.
