2 5/8" Catlonite Face Pendant - Modern Made
2 5/8" Catlonite Face Pendant – Modern Made. Likely mid to late 20th century given the collection it came from. Sticker on the backreads "Hopewell Head R. Parsons Collection" This is a very nicely made piece made of an attractive 2 tone catlonite. Catlonite has been used by Native Americans for thousands of years and still is to this day.
