5 1/16" Finely Made Stanfield Blade Pictured in Who's Who w/ Keele COA
5 1/16" Finely Made Stanfield Blade found in Lincoln County, Missouri w/ Ryan Keele COA. A large and well made and highly patinated example of the type. Pictured in Who’s Who #6 in Indian Artifacts pg. 210 (A collection photo but its in that picture somewhere). Glens Collection was also pictured in Who’s Who #9 pgs. 188 & 189 where this large blade is pictured on one of the shelves of large blades Glen had (a challenge to pick out given the picture quality on those pages and its a distance picture). Glen kept a journal of his purchases over the years. Ex Glen Leesman, Mark McDaniels and Jeff Gower Collections. Leismanns catalog number L-395. L-395 from Leismanns book shows that this blade was bought from Pat Patterson in 1976 for 35.00.
