Cigar Box Full of Damaged Arrowheads Found in Fulton Co. Illinois and surrounding Counties. Cigar
Cigar box filled with damaged and partial stone arrowheads recovered in Fulton County, Illinois and surrounding counties. The group includes a wide variety of point fragments, flakes, and broken tools representing different prehistoric periods and flaking traditions from the region. Despite their condition, such pieces remain useful for study and comparison, offering insight into material types, workmanship, and local find sites.
Many of the pieces retain handwritten catalog notes or find location markings, adding provenance and historical context to the collection. The artifacts are housed in a vintage cigar box measuring approximately 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 x 3 inches. Total weight is roughly 5 pounds.
