Original 1885 Imao Keinen Japanese Woodblock Print - Meiji Period
Imao Keinen (1845-1924), a Japanese woodblock print artist known for his beautiful depictions of birds and flowers. His most famous work is titled "Keinen Kacho Gafu", a stunning four-part series of woodblock prints showcasing birds and flowers in the four seasons. Has age toning with 5 tack or binder holes along the left edge as shown in photos. Measures 14 3/8" by 9 7/8" approximately.
