4 1/2" Transitional Paleo Knife found in Tazwell County, Illinois
4 1/2" Transitional Paleo Knife found in Tazwell County, Illinois. A thin blade with overshot flaking on one side with only minor retouch to the edges with pressure. This is one that is hard to pinpoint on type chassification. May also have been an agate basin period blade or agate basin maker who lacked a pressure flaker to finish as they generally did. Ex Chuck Asher Collection. Has the intials STN with a date written on it which would have been the finder in 2004.
Condition: Ancient Authentic
