Lot 525:
16 3/8" Vintage Negrito Bolo Knife
The Negrito Bolo Knife is a traditional Filipino weapon that became popular among U.S. soldiers and sailors after World War II. These knives were often handcrafted by local artisans in the Philippines and typically feature a long, straight blade with a carved wooden handle. Many of these knives were made from Jeep leaf springs and came with intricately carved wooden sheaths. This one does not have a sheath. Still in very good shape for its age.
