5" Sedalia Digger w/ Corkscrew Fossil Inclusion Found in Saline County, Missouri by Jim Latimer. This is a fun to look at digger. The Indian managed to capture an almost 4" fossil going the length of the piece in the center of one side. There are often fossils in Burlington cherts but rarely one anywhere near the size of the one in this piece. The fossil is crystalized in the matrix which helps it stand out. Nice use wear polish on the bit to boot.
