Lot 205:
Outstanding 6 1/2" Etley found in Montgomery County, Missouri in the early 1900's w/ Keele COA
6 1/2" Etley found by Michael Auchly’s Great Grandfather on their homestead in Montgomery County, Missouri in the early 1900’s. Outstanding Manufacture. As often is the case one notch goes in deeper than the other on etley’s because they built the blade to seat in an already made handle or shaft end. Oddly enough their farm is a long ways from a large stream but they still found hunting losses out on that prairie over the years. Walking behind the horse and plow big points like this were often found by early farmers in that era still in excellent condition. 100 years later and ground plowed for well over a hundred years we are lucky to find a good woodland point. Ancient blades and spears this size are far and few between. Comes with a Ryan Keele COA.
