1918 Battle of Verdun WWl Trench Art 75MM Artillery Shell Case. Verdun was the site of a major battle, the longest-lasting of the First World War. This shell commemorates the Battle of Verdun with a leaf and vine motif embossed with tiny leave prints. The bottom of the shell reads 75 DEC A.G121 l 18C. It measures 11 1/4" Tall.
