Vintage Collection of Approximately 70 Lenin & Soviet Era Russian Pins or Brooch’s – Soviet Memorabilia. From the Chuck & Eileen Hoffman Collection. On soviet era collector sites individually these pins generally range in the 10 to 30 dollar range each. Pins and badges commemorating Lenin were commonly worn by members and supporters of the Soviet Union throughout its existence. Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov 1870 – 21 January 1924, better known as Vladimir Lenin, was a Russian revolutionary, politician and political theorist. He served as the first and founding head of government of Soviet Russia from 1917 until his death in 1924, and of the Soviet Union from 1922 to 1924. Under his administration, Russia, and later the Soviet Union, became a one-party socialist state governed by the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (CPSU). Ideologically a Marxist, his developments to the ideology are called Leninism. All are in excellent condition. They measure 3/8" to 2 1/4" approximately.
