WWI Imperial German Prussian Army M1884/98 II Bayonet
WWI Imperial German Prussian Army M1884/98 II Bayonet. Surface is very aged. Has serial numbers for military issue on one side of the blade base 78754. The closest match we could find to this blade was the German M1884/98. On the opposing side of the serial number there was something on the steal identifying it. All we can make out of that are two letters RT with a possible I after the T. This is a very late 19th century or early 20th century bayonet. Mechanism moves freely back and forth on the hilt. It measures 17 5/8"
