Lot 103:
Pre-Columbian Preclassic Circa 300 BC Anthropomorphic Pottery Vessel
Pre-Columbian Mayan Anthropomorphic Pottery Vessel. A face is sculpted on one side of the vessel with 4 raised ridges coming down the sides as shown in photos. This is a very nice solid pot with no restoration. Heavy patination with bipolimer root marks cover much of the pot taking away from its luster but showing off its age. It measures 8 1/2" diameter by 4 3/4" tall approximately. Ex Tom Moxley Collection.
