7 1/2" Flared Bit Celt found in SE Iowa
7 1/2" Flared Bit Celt found in SE Iowa. Nicely formed for its type. Appears to be an almost finished flared bit celt. The bit wasnt worked down all of the way and it doesnt have any polish from use wear. The form of granite it is made of has a lot of small felspar spots in it which light up under an archaeoscope showing off its radiation absorbed from time.
