Original Circa 1860 Utagwa Kunisada Japanese Woodblock Print titled "Imayo Oshi-e Kagami" – Edo Period. "Imayo Oshi-e Kagami" is a series of woodblock prints created by Utagawa Kunisada (also known as Toyokuni III) between 1859 and 1861. This series features kabuki actor head portraits reflected in a mirror, a popular design element among ukiyo-e artists. The title translates to "Mirror of Today’s Picture" or "Mirror of Contemporary Pictures". Another of this same woodblock print can be viewed at the British Museum. Colors are still nice with some age toning. Crease to the top right corner with the usual tattering to page edges. This print measures 14 1/2" by 14 1/4"
