Rare Hand Carved Twin Mask from the Legal Tribe in Congo, Africa – Mid Century or Older. Highly detailed mask hand carved from one chunk of wood by the Legal Tribe in Congo Africa. Significant use wear polish to the inside of the mask from years of use during ceremonies. Likely used during tribal initiations. Has two chips out of the wood on the back side that do not affect it as a wall display. Measures 13 1/2" tall by 7 1/4" by a little over 3" deep.
