Vintage USN MK 3 Mod 0 Military Naval Diving/Survival Knife
The MK 3 Mod 0 knife, also known as the U.S. Navy Diving/Survival Knife, was originally issued to U.S. Navy SEALs during their Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL (BUD/S) training. It’s also used by Reconnaissance Marines at the Combatant Divers Course in Panama City, Florida. This knife is designed for multiple purposes, including diving, survival, and combat. The Navy first started issuing this knife in 1982. This knife has a serial number and would have been an issued piece of equipment in its day. 2V376. It measures a little over 10 1/4" and is still a very sturdy knife that fits tightly in the sheath that was designed for it. A weapon that was used and reused for decades of military operations it has some wear as shown in photos.
