Mexican Black Clay Colander Oaxaca Clay Rinse Pot. Often referred to as barro negro, are known for their distinctive black sheen and intricate designs. These colanders are traditionally made in the town of San Bartolo Coyotepec, where artisans use a unique polishing technique to achieve the black metallic-like finish. Excellent condition. This pot measures 4 3/8" tall and approx 5 3/4" diameter.
