2 1/2" Prehistorically Salvaged Bannerstone
2 1/2" Prehistorically Salvaged Bannerstone. At one time this was a much larger bannerstone. One edge shows where the hole used to be where it broke and they reworked the piece. Found on a sand ridge in Pike County, Illinois. Made of a black slate or similar hard dark stone. Ex John Borrowman Collection.
