This vintage mechanical bank is a delightful piece of historical craftsmanship. Made from cast iron, it features a colorful and detailed design. The bank typically depicts a scene or character, such as animals, people, or even buildings. When a coin is inserted into the designated slot and a lever or button is activated, the bank’s mechanical parts come to life, performing a playful action that deposits the coin into the bank’s storage compartment. The eyes of the mama eagle may be inside. We didnt take it apart to look. Great display piece for the 19th century victorian era collector. It measures 6”H x 8.25”W x 4.5”D
