Tribal Borneo Native Necklace – Snail Shells, Porcupine Quills, Jewel Beatle Wings and rosary peas. The cordage is likely hemp. From the Chuck and Eileen Hoffman Collection. Chuck aquired this necklace on his travels from tribal peoples in Borneo while teaching in Asia and had it nicely framed to protect and preserve it. Collected in the second half of the 20th Century. Necklace is approximately 30" in a 19 3/4" by 15 3/4" frame. Very nice necklace in excellent condition.
