Early Inca Spanish Influenced Polychrome Painted Kero Cup - 1500 - 1600 CE
Early Inca Spanish Influenced Polychrome Painted Kero Cup – 1500 – 1600 CE. An unusual and highly developed Kero cup highly decorated with birds (cranes or road runners most likely) and other accents. The figures were first etched before they were painted. The cup is more European in design but the artistry is Inca making this a quite rare Kero. It measures 5 1/4" tall and about 2 3/4" diameter. Condition is very good for its age. Has a little chip at the top of the rim.
