Toyohara Kunichika Japanese Wood Block Print. Toyohara Kunichika (1835-1900) was a prominent Japanese woodblock print artist during Edo and in to the Meiji period. He is best known for his colorful prints of kabuki actors with bold facial expressions, but he also created prints of beautiful women, historical scenes, and landscapes. Kunichika is considered one of the last masters of the traditional style of ukiyo-e print. Excellent condition as shown in photos. Measures
