Highly Detailed Arita Imari Komainu (Foo Dog) Bowl Meiji Period or Older. The Meiji Period was from 1868-1912 in Japan. The diameter on the bowl isn’t perfect. There is approximately 1/8" variance. 8 3/8" to 8 1/2" diameter approximately and 3 1/8" tall. There are two very minor chips on one edge (shown in photos). One of them appears to have been worked (sanded down) long ago.
