"Day & Night" Paintings by Ernesto Mejia Caceres. The paintings are named "Sol Intenso" & Sol Tenue" – in English translates to Intense sun and low sun (Day and Night). Painted in 1986 by well-known Peruvian artist Ernesto Meijia Caceres in Lima, Peru. These painting by Ernesto have striking similarities to some art by Vincent Van Gogh. Acquired by Chuck and Eileen Hoffman while teaching in Lima Peru. Paintings measure approximately Sol Tenue – 8 3/4" by 8 3/4" on a 12 1/2 by 12 1/2" frame and Sol Intenso is 10 1/2" by 8 1/2" on a 14 1/4" by 12 3/8" frame.
