5 1/4" Native American Trail Direction Marker found in Lafeyette County, Missouri
Native American Trail Direction Marker found by Ron Dankenbring in Lafayette County, Missouri. Sits upright nicely with the tip off set. An interesting piece manufactured for a purpose which leaves us guessing. Would have served nicely as a direction pointer on a trail which could be moved. With no phones Indians had to be creative in letting the others know which way they went. Would also have served for drilling large holes in wood. An interesting piece that sits and displays nicely on a shelf. Measures 5 1/4"
