MASSIVE Vintage 1950s or Older Baga Nimba Fertility Mother Shoulder Mask Carved Wood. The Baga Nimba shoulder fertility mask, also known as the D’mba or Nimba headdress, is a significant cultural artifact from the Baga people of Guinea. This mask represents the ideal of female fertility and motherhood, symbolizing the nurturing and protective qualities of women. This is a huge and heavy artifact. Local pickup is encouraged. Shipping costs will be high given its weight and size. 2 of us are able to pick it up and move it – weight is definitely over 100 pounds (probably around 150).
