Early 20th Century Ice Fishing Rod & Reel
Early 20th Century Ice Fishing Rod & Reel. Excellent condition for its age. Very nice display piece. In its era rods like this one were prized possessions. Most poles in use were a much simpler design. Sturdily built the rod measures approximately 27". Neither the rod nor the reel bare any makers marks. The eyelets are nailed down and the reel holder is faceted down by flat head screws. Although primitive compared to equipment of today it is still fully functional.
