4 Pair of Native American Leather Doll Moccasins - 1920's-1930's California
4 Pair of Native American Leather Doll Moccasins – 1920’s-1930’s California. 3 of the Moccasins have beadwork. These small moccasins were made by the Chumash, Serrano, Gabrielino, Cahuilla, Kumeyaay, Maidu, Miwok, Yokuts, Yurok, Karok, Hupa, and/or Wiyot tribes. We were told that some were seal hide or leather while others are leathers from other animals. We arnt sure which is which… They measure 3 1/4" to 4 1/8". All are still in very nice condition for their age.
