Incised Pre-Columbian Mayan Pottery Bowl with Water Lip or Pour Spout
Incised Pre-Columbian Mayan Pottery Bowl. Pre-Classic circa 300 BC. Nicely made Maya pouring bowl. Similar to some modern day pots this one has an extension on the lip where water or other fluids could be poured in a controled fashion. Solid pot with no restoration. Ancient small ding to the rim as shown in photos. Measures 6 5/8" diameter by 2 3/8" tall. From the late Tom Moxley Collection.
