3 River Patinated Indian Chert Bifaces - 5 1/4" to 5 7/8"
3 River Patinated Indian Chert Bifaces – 5 1/4" to 5 7/8". Large chert bifaces created and discarded by indians some time over the past 12000 years. Given their size these bifaces were meant to make large blades or spear heads but never got finished. Nice examples of river patination. Found by Jeff Gower in Northern Missouri.
