6 1/16" Banded Slate Bird stone - Modern Made
6 1/16" Banded Slate Bird stone – Modern Made. A local collector claimed he knows the family that made this and thousands similar to it in Pike County, IL over the past 70 or more years. This one he guessed was an older one made 50 years ago or so. Slate fades over time and this piece is quite faded. Has a sticker on the bottom of it that reads Bi Bi-102 Preble County, Ohio. Most of the older modern made pieces have stickers on them with generated provenance.
Condition: Ancient Authentic
