Painted, Engraved and Adorned Pre-Columbian Inca/Wari Kero Cup - 1300-1550
Painted, Engraved and Adorned Pre-Columbian Inca/Wari Kero Cup – 1300-1550. Cups of this quality were owned by the ruling class of the Inca and Wari Cultures 1300 to 1550 CE. This Kero is very elaborate with engraved patterns and flowers at the bottom. On the sides there are two carved beads or symbols (one is mother of pearl and the other appears to be a green striped stone) embedded attached somehow to the exterior of the cup. Excellent condition for its age. Measures 5 7/8" tall with an almost 5" Diameter at the rim.
