3 1/4" Museum Grade Pre-Columbian Eccentric Nose Ring
3 1/4" Museum Grade Pre-Columbian Eccentric Nose Ring. One of the more prized styles of Mayan Eccentrics. This is one of the finest of its type we have handled. Bifacially flaked this eccentric/nose ring is made from an opaque high quality chert. It is very rare to see the ends on one of these still intact and as close as this one was made. This piece was made by an ancient master knapper who took extreme pride in their work. Manufacture is correct and it has excellent patination.
