Lot 397:
1868 Belgian V. Gulikers-Maquinay Liege Military Percussion Flintlock Pistol
Belgian V. Gulikers Maquinay Liege Military Percussion Flintlock Pistol, dated 1868 on the rear of the lock plate, 9” iron barrel of approx 60 caliber. This style of large, rather heavy handgun, was usually made for export to various countries both for those countries military forces and also as inexpensive personal weapons. Very good condition for its age. Wood is still intact without cracks or breakage, trigger mechanisms and locking mechanisms still function as intended and it still has its rammer in place (these are often gone in these older flint locks). Metal is still nice for its age with minor spotting but no major pitting as can be seen in photos. Very nice collector piece. This pistol/gun measures 15 1/2" length.
Condition: Ancient Authentic
