Arrowhead in a Bison Bone - Old Perdernales Arrowhead in an Old Bone - Modern
Arrowhead in a Bison Bone – Old Perdernales Arrowhead in an Old Bone – Modern. Fluted the base of the perdenales at first glance looks like a clovis stuck in the bone. A fun piece to have fun with a friend while hunting creeks. Close inspection reveals the point is glued in the bone with sand mixed in. The bison bone measures 7 1/4" and the arrowhead is around 2 1/4". It’s a wasted down perdinales that has the tip really worked down to almost a drill. Name on the bag this came with reads "Gary Sams". That may or may not be who made this assemblage.
