2 3/4" Highly Detailed Jade Chinese Neolithic Eccentric/Lady Bug . Hongshan Culture 5000 BC to 300 AD. Lady Bug is a guess on what this represents. Its form and artistry we could not find an exact match for on the web. Material appears to be highly patinated very dark black or green jade but may be another material found in China. This piece exhibits easy to see ancient manufacture signs with patination. Reviewed and approved by an Authenticator. 2 3/4" diameter approximately. The craftsmanship on this piece is quite detailed and likely will only make sense to a collector more versed in ancient Chinese meanings than we are. For size perception it is like holding a standard baseball made of stone.
