2 3/4" Outstanding Neolithic Agate Monkey Pendant found in the Liaoning Province in Northeast China. Hongshan Culture 4700 to 2900 BC. This is an awesome Relic. The stone appears to be Moss Agate which is very translucent. It has very fine workmanship. The ancient artisan that made this piece done so with pride showing off his artistry in the outstanding detail incorporated in to its manufacture. The curvature in polish, hand pecking and scratching done on this piece can leave one with only the conclusion that it was done by hand with primitive tools. Under a microscope it is as impressive as it is holding it in hand. Reviewed and approved by authenticator Ryan Keele. Demonstrates correct (ancient/primitive manufacture).
