2 1/2" Oolitic Chert Dalton found in Audrain County, Missouri by Rodney Gray. Flaking on this Dalton isn’t typical of the type. It appears the ancient knapper didn’t have a pressure flaker available as it doesn’t appear to have more than crushing flakes on the edges. Sometimes they just had to make do with what they had. Has excellent patination and good use wear. Keywords: Ancient, Authentic Arrowhead Native American Indian Artifact.
