2 1/4" Agate Bird Pendant Found in Liaoning Province Northeast China Neolithic Hongshan Culture. 5000 BC to 300 AD. Patination is light which is usually the case on the harder stones found in the region. Craftsmanship is a lot of hand work with the light scratches and pecking associated with ancient manufacture methods which is how the ancient ones are supposed to be.
