A 13-Bore Flintlock Sporting Gun By J. Bishop Of London, Circa 1820. With a browned two-stage sighted octagonal to round barrel, stamped with Birmingham proofs and engraved ‘Warranted’ the breech inlayed with a gold poincon stamped; ‘London’, stepped, signed foliate engraved lock and hammer with rain-proof pan, highly figured walnut half-stock with chequered grip, with engraved steel mounts decorated with foliate designs.
