2 3/4" Neolithic Arrow Shaft Stone found in North Africa
2 3/4" Neolithic Arrow Shaft Stone Straightener found in North Africa. Appears to be made of some kind of quartzite. It could have had some other use but appears to have been used for running arrow shafts back and forth through the hole to get the shaft even. May also have been a net weight or a pendant of some sort. Sometimes the best we can do is guess on artifacts like this one.
