8" Mississippian Mussel Shell Effigy Bowl found in Lee Co., Arkansas. Very nice bowl shaped like a fresh water mussel or American Clam. This bowl has been in several collections over the years. Ex Raymond Vietzen, C.T. Love, Tony Putty and Rick Fitzgerald Collections. Was papered by Greg Perino in 1999, has an information sheet from its last owner and a couple pictures that have followed it since 2000. It measures 8" Long and 6" Wide. Doesnt appear to have any restoration or damage. Has very good patination.
