5 3/4" Ornate Neolithic Quartzite Mortar or Dish from Northern Africa
5 3/4" Ornate Neolithic Quartzite Mortar or Dish. Very elaborate highly developed small mortar or totem holder. Not sure if this was used as a mortar or not. Its purpose doesn’t seem apparent but it is extremely well made of yellow quartzite. Measures 5 3/4" diameter and 2 1/4" tall.
