Peter Parley’s Thousand and One Stories of Fact and Fancy, Wit and Humor, Rhyme, Reason , and Romance. Edited by S. G. Goodrich. Published by Derby & Jackson, New York, 1857. Publishers original red cloth with a tooled and gold gilt overlay to the spine and the front and rear covers. Fairly good condition for its age. Internally solid with age toning and a little thumbing. Spine has damage to the top w/ shelf wear to board edges. Front cover has been taped on by someone (appears to be a partial detachment). 751 pgs.
