H.C. WHITE Perfecscope Stereoscope 1902 w/ 15 Viewer Cards
H.C. WHITE Perfecscope Stereoscope 1902. Very good condition but does need a new wire insert on one side of the card holder as shown in photos. H.C. White started making these in 1895 and they were among the more prized of stereoscope viewers in that era. Frame is made of wood and aluminum. Comes with 15 Viewer cards made by H.C. White also from that era. Cattle farmers working cattle, other live stock, Japanese Officer w/ his Wife, 1903 Naval Ships at Sea, Hanging Dear, Asian Soldiers Marching in Formation etc. Most of the cards are in excellent condition. Many appear to be from Japan or elsewhere in Asia which would have been very entertaining for people at the time who had never been to that side of the world (no TV back then). Measures 11 3/4" long.
