Double Dished Mortar w/ Quartzite Pestle found in Illinois. Nicely dished out on both sides this Mortar may also have been used as a shallow stone bowl on both sides. It is made of sandstone and measures 8 1/2" long by 3 1/2" tall. The pestle is 4 5/8" Tall. From the Eldon Launer Collection
